ABOUT ME

​

I’m a Creative Director, copy currently working at CB2 in Chicago. 

 

With over 15 years experience working on and leading creative teams, I’ve developed a pretty diverse set of skills. Conceptual campaign work is my current day to day, but so is creative strategy, editorial planning, content development, video/photo shoot planning, collaborating closely with marketing, mentoring and leading creative teams and writing, writing, writing.


I have agency and client-side experience across a range of industries including home, fashion, finance, luxury, mass market retail and packaged goods. I’ve had the opportunity to work with brands like JCREW, TARGET, AMERICAN EXPRESS AND P&G.

WORK EXPERIENCE​

 

2015 - Now

CB2, Creative Director 

  • Direct overall brand voice, attitude and creative vision

  • Responsible for all storytelling, editorial and brand campaign creative

  • Collaborate with marketing to create cross-channel strategies for each campaign

  • Develop and lead a team of writers, art directors and designers

  • Concept and develop creative assets including all editorial, storytelling, video, photo, print, ecommerce, email, experiential and in-store collateral

  • Write, creative direct and continuously update brand identity books for internal partners, external partners and PR

  • Develop quarterly/monthly brand content strategies and message maps

  • Write/direct SEO optimization

  • Write catalogs, paid ads, social copy, scripts, storyboards and long form storytelling

Clients: Kraft, Anheuser Busch, Crystal Light, Kool-Aid

  • Lead and mentor a team of writers and art directors across several brands

  • Work hands-on developing creative direction and providing guidance throughout projects 

  • Concept and execute brand campaigns that include: television, print, digital, social, out of home, mobile and ecommerce

  • Lead the social media practice for the agency; oversee community managers and creative teams to make original monthly content for 3 major brands on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Vine and Pinterest

  • Responsible for ideas and creative work for new business pitches

  • Write copy for everything from small banner ads and television scripts to strategic idea write-ups, all on a daily basis
